Below are activities that are ongoing here at First Baptist. We hope you will find a place to serve God. We also hope you will take advantage of our times of worship and Christian education opportunities.
Psalm 95:6 “Come, Let us bow down in worship, Let us kneel before the Lord our maker.”
Sunday
We have two worship services on Sunday morning. The first service is at 8:10 a.m., a traditional service with the second service at 10:40 a.m. being a blended service. A nursery is provided at the back of the church for children up to age of 3 years old.
Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m., between the two worship services. There are classes for all ages.
Monday
We meet in the sanctuary for prayer at 9:00 a.m. every Monday morning.
Tuesday
Senior Adult Learning Together (SALT) meets every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. for a bible study, then lunch together at a local restaurant. Occasionally, they go on an outing.
Wednesday
From 5:00-8:00 p.m., the youth meet for youth group. They have a lesson, game and bible time and dinner is provided. A van is provided to drop off the children for those who don’t have transportation.
Thursday
At 6:00 p.m. Bible Study and Discipleship, for all ages, get together. It is a great time of study, prayer and fellowship.
Our ladies circles (ABW) also meet the second Tuesday of every month in the fellowship hall at 6:30 p.m. Watch the calendar for who is hostess or the activity they are working on.
