In 1990, God called me into the ministry after I had completed singing for the church. The song was "People Need the Lord". God had been dealing with me for years to be in service for Him. My wife, Rachel, and I entered in Central Baptist Seminary in 1990, with a lot of struggles. We have three sons who were 8, 4 and 1 when we gave up our home in Paola, Kansas to follow God's directions for our lives. While in seminary, I was the interim pastor at the Elm Grove Baptist Church in Chiles, Kansas. After completing seminary, God called my family to First Baptist Church, Sheffield, Iowa; and we were their for 6 years. God led us to First Baptist, Atchison, Kansas, in 1999. We were both closer to home as Rachel grew in Tonganoxie, Kansas and I grew in Kansas City, Missouri. Rachel and I have always known that wherever we were with God, we were home. My ministry is to reach the lost, preach peace and search for those that often have neglected or given up on God as God has never given up on me. Our church is a warm and loving place to hear and to grow in God's love. Come and join us to grow closer to God. God Bless all of you,
